MATERIALS AND ASSEMBLY
Means of Egress
This assignment involved the design of an IBC-compliant egress system in an existing building. Working from given plans and sections and appropriate IBC sections, I wrote a code review and created diagrams for the existing stair and ramp. My design solution is code-compliant and functional, with notations for appropriate code considerations.

Framing Plan
This assignment involved modeling the wooden framing for the Craven Road Residence in Toronto, ON. It required figuring out the layout of studs and the framing of windows and door openings. A rudimentary roof truss structure is also framed, as seen in the 3-dimensional drawing. Sections of corner framing details are also shown, with special focus on materials.

Final Assignment - Cinematek
This assignment required a code review for our final studio project - the cinematek. The code review involved the structural system, building limitations, and means of egress calculations. The second part of the assignment involved modeling a structural bay within our project. My project was originally an all concrete structure, reflected in my code review for a Type I construction building. Throughout the final design process, I changed my structure to a combined concrete and steel frame system, reflected in the final structural bay.
